Abandon hope all ye who enter here
Dear students,
I am writing to you who are preparing to attend the second year: “abandon all hope, you who enter”, this is the writing that could stand out at the top of the door of your classroom.
Lovers of the unknown, travellers, adventurers and pioneers this is your year. Arm your caravel fully, bring everything you can. Certainly the wheel of the warrior’s attributes (you will need all of that, learn it well!), all your arrows of light, lots of paper tissues (then you will understand why…) and your unbridled desire for mystery and magic. I certainly cannot reveal to you what you will encounter during the journey, nor what and how many tests you will have to overcome: each of you will be challenged in a very, very personal way. What I give you for sure is that in the end you will not be like when you left. You will be given a board with which to surf on the chaotic wave: sea monsters, sharks, gigantic waves… but nothing… you have to continue…
Priorities, choices, decisions, this is the year you can no longer put it off. You will discover whether the love you feel for this path is authentic or… “a buggy”…
Let’s say that the first year is that of Peniet lovers who look into each other’s eyes making little hearts, the second is “the Ikea test”!
As Mary Minor told me one day: “The Dharma is not for “Sissy” people. So in this second year you will have the opportunity to truly understand what it means to be a Rainbow Warrior and make a difference in the world!
Well I think I’ve told you everything and now excuse me but I still have a fifth session to do… yes it’s the last one, it’s true, but being a second year session you never know what to expect.
So have a safe journey into the unknown to everyone!
Bye, see you at school.
Angela
